Founded in May of 1919, New Mexico Baptist Children's Home is the longest continuously operating residential childcare facility in New Mexico. The goal of NMBCH has always been to make a difference in the lives of the children God entrusts to our care. The dedicated Christian staff is focused on the task of encouraging each child to become a well-adjusted and responsible individual. This includes guiding children in their growth physically, mentally, spiritually, and socially.
Today, in addition to caring for our children, we plan to keep doing more for families as a whole. We will now operate as New Mexico Baptist Children's Home and Family Ministries! There has been much success through our Christian Women's Job Corps program, and we're thrilled to expand our family-focused services. The year 2017 will see two new exciting routes of ministry: a Christian family therapist available to serve local hurting families, and an adoption program to help facilitate new and forever families.
For over 97 years the New Mexico Baptist Children's Home has helped hundreds of children and their families onto a path of restoration. A child's heart can be shattered and all hope lost when they experience abuse, abandonment, neglect or the loss of a parent.
The ministry of NMBCH strives to restore hope through unconditional love and care. Consider becoming a partner with NMBCH through your tax deductible gift. With every bit of support, you too are sharing hope to our children and families of New Mexico!
