Welcome - Campbell Dilts

New Mexico Baptist Children's Home & Family Ministries is excited to welcome Campbell Dilts to our barn ministry as our newest Barn Staff. Campbell brings a heart for children, a love for Christ, and a passion for helping young people grow and thrive.

A recent Eastern New Mexico University graduate, Campbell is originally from Corrales, New Mexico. She grew up in a family that demonstrated the love of Christ not only to her, but to many children and families over the years. As the middle of six children, including three adopted siblings, Campbell was shaped by her family's experience caring for more than 80 foster children between 2009 and 2021.

According to Campbell, those experiences opened her eyes to the need for children to experience the love of Christ and to the impact families and individuals can have in influencing that relationship. Seeing the positive effect that loving families and healthy relationships had on children from difficult circumstance helped form her desire to serve children and families in ministry.

Campbell is a graduate student at Oklahoma State University, where she is studying Agricultural Education. She enjoys working with animals, especially horses and dogs, and spends her free time reading, writing, spending time outdoors, exercising, and enjoying hobbies such as crocheting, painting, and thrifting.

"Getting to see the positive effect family and relationships have on kids who came from hurting places and watching God heal them was such a beautiful picture of how Christ works in all of us, which is why I look forward to seeing God use me at NMBCH. In my time here, I hope to instill the value of responsibility, dedication, and what it means that we have been given dominion, which requires honoring God by caring for His creation (Genesis 1:26-28)." - Campbell Dilts
