Welcome - Amanda Coffman

New Mexico Baptist Children's Home & Family Ministries is excited to welcome Amanda Coffman as our new Residential Care Administrator. Amanda brings a heart for children, a passion for residential ministry, and a deep understanding of the life-changing impact residential care can have on children and families.

Originally from Kansas City and most recently from Tucson, Arizona, Amanda now calls New Mexico home with her husband and their two-year-old son. She says that becoming a wife and mother has deepened her heart for children and strengthened her commitment to helping create places where they feel secure, valued, and truly cared for.

Before stepping into her current role, Amanda served as a houseparent, where she built meaningful relationships with the children in her care and walked alongside them in their daily lives. That experience gave her firsthand insight into the importance of consistency, compassion, and Christ-centered care. It also strengthened her passion for residential ministry and for supporting the staff who faithfully care for children each day.

As Residential Care Administrator, Amanda works alongside houseparent and other staff to support the daily operations of the Residential Care program and create an environment where children can grow, heal, and thrive.

"This ministry matters deeply to me because I believe every child deserves to feel safe and loved, just as Christ has shown us. I feel grateful to be a part of a ministry that offers hope, stability, and healing to children and families every day."
