Title: Residential Care Administrator
Recruited by: Executive Director
Working Relationship:
Reports to: Executive Director
Supervises: Houseparents, Case Manager, Animal/4-H Program Staff, and Maintenance Staff
Staff Team: Works closely with Executive Director and all Children's Home's staff to enhance the total program.
Basic Functions:
The Residential Care Administrator is primarily responsible for the delivery of Christ-centered care to youth in residential care through supervision and support of houseparents, case manager,
animal/4-H program staff, maintenance personnel, and coordination of the transition-to-adult program.
The Residential Care Administrator also assists with the agency's church relations, communications, and development activities when needed.
Basic Responsibilities:
- Lead with a heart that recognizes the challenges of ministry and encourages staff in their calling from the Lord and their walk with Him.
- Assume responsibility for oversight of residential programs.
- Assume responsibility for the employment, encouragement, supervision, evaluation, and, if needed, discharge of all personnel under their supervision with approval of the Executive Director.
Personnel under their supervision including houseparents, case manger, animal/4-H program staff, and maintenance staff.
- Ensure that residential programs meet all agency standards, policies, and licensing requirements.
- Ensure that team efforts are being maximized in providing services.
- Maintain a cooperative working relationship with community agencies and other referral and funding sources.
- Develop and implement an in-service training program for all staff within the department, in conjunction with the Executive Director, agency raining programs, and CYFD requirements.
- Participate in monitoring and oversight of the budget for assigned programs, ensuring purchases are appropriate and properly documented.
- Assist with the agency's church relations, communications, and development activities when needed.
- Maintain and update personnel files of assigned personnel in accordance with policies and state requirements.
