Summer vacation kicked off with a fun trip for Hubbard Cottage, who set out for Amarillo, Texas. Their destination was The Drury Inn, where, upon arrival, the kids wasted no time relaxing by the hotel pool, enjoying complimentary popcorn and soda before a tasty dinner.
Their adventure continued the next day with a visit to the Discovery Center. The kids had a blast exploring a model news set, navigating a life-size anthill, and for the more daring, even sampling cooked crickets!
The fun kept going with a day at Urban Air, where they bounced on trampolines, scaled climbing walls, and swung across ball pits. The cottage then headed to Canyon, Texas, for a refreshing time at the Canyon Aqua Park, swimming in the pools, zipping down water slides, and relaxing in the lazy river.
Another highlight was spray-painting a car at Cadillac Ranch, followed by a stop at Buc-cee's. The vacation wrapped up by attending the Estancia Campus Open House and visiting First Baptist Church Estancia on Sunday, then back to Portales.
