The NMBCH Family is Growing

At NMBCH, our family is constantly growing and evolving. In the past few months, we've been fortunate to welcome several new staff members. We recently added two new staff to the NMBCH family.

We invite you to join us in extending a warm welcome to these new additions to our family and to keep them in your thoughts and prayers as they learn and grow in their new roles.

Lon Graham

Vice President

Lon was born and raised in East Texas in a town called Longview.

He has been married to Amy for 23 years. And they have four children: Lainey, Sarah Grace, Abby, and Joey

He earned his Bachelor’s degree (BA in Biblical Studies-Languages) from Union University; Master of Divinity from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary; and PhD from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and the International Baptist Theological Study Centre.

He spent 17 years as a pastor in Washington state and Texas.

"Why do I want to work at the Children’s Home?  God loves orphans.  He makes that very clear over and over again in Scripture.  By giving these children a safe, loving home, the Baptist Children’s Home makes the invisible love of God visible.  Moreover, and more personally, my whole ministry has been about wanting to make a difference for Jesus in this world.  With every healthy meal, doctor’s visit, and safe night’s sleep, the Children’s Home makes that difference.  I welcome the opportunity to be a part of what God is doing at the Baptist Children’s Home."

Reda Allison

Administrative Assistant

Reda was born and raised in Portales, NM. She attended Eastern New Mexico University and received her Bachelors in Social Work.

She lived in Albuquerque, NM for 4 years after college and recently moved by to Portales.

She is a member of Floyd Baptist Church; and enjoys reading, hiking, camping, attending Bible study, and spending time with friends and family.

"I am very excited for this next chapter in life and look forward to working with the amazing crew at NMBCH!"
