On November 9, churches across the nation will join together for Stand Sunday, a day dedicated to prayer and action for children in foster care and the families who care for them. These families often face unique challenges—emotional, financial, and practical—as they provide stability and love to children from hard places. It’s a calling that requires courage, compassion, and community.
This is where the church can make a profound difference. By standing together, we can offer hope and support to foster and adoptive families who need encouragement and resources.
At New Mexico Baptist Children’s Home (NMBCH), we live out this mission by:
- Providing residential care for children from hard places who need safety and stability.
- Offering adoption services to help families open their hearts and homes to children in need.
- Supporting foster and adoptive families through guidance, resources, and ongoing care.
Want to know how your church can help?
We’ve created a resource page with practical ideas and tools to support foster care and adoptive parents in your community.
Let’s make this Stand Sunday more than a moment—let’s make it a movement of love and action, Bringing Hope Today for Rewritten Tomorrows.
