Some of the children started this summer by tilling the plant beds and working the soil to prepare the beds for the seeds to come. They then dug holes, planted the seeds, set the stakes and then watered, watered, and watered. The children loved to pull, pluck and cut the veggies off and take them home.
Some of our kids even won prizes at the county fair for their vegetables and 4-H Gardening Poster.
